About

The Biotechnology Roundtable is an educational and networking forum for business professionals active in the biotechnology industry. It is a joint initiative of alumni from the following schools: Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, Wharton, Sloan, Haas, Kellogg, Tuck, Fuqua, University of Chicago, Columbia University, University of Michigan, Darden, Stern, Yale, Anderson, Johnson, London Business School, INSEAD, IMD and IESE.

This forum was founded in 2001 by a group of alumni from Harvard Business School. In 2002 it expanded to include alumni from other leading business schools.

Activities

Quarterly networking events at which members can meet and interact with each other organized locally within various geographic regions.

Dinner speaking events in which alumni can enjoy listening to industry leaders speak about trends in the sector and participate in discussions about the field.

Scientific review events in which alumni can meet with leading industry scientists and learn about cutting edge research in this field.

Career advancement workshops in collaboration with the career development departments of various schools.

Outreach activities for current MBA students to explore this field. (Encouraging the development of summer internships / 2nd year projects in biotechnology companies.)
